Arthur’s Background

Arthur is a current senior at Hampton University, majoring in Strategic Communications, minoring in business management and cinema studies, originally from Mobile, Alabama. While at Hampton, Arthur discovered his passion for creative storytelling, teamwork, and mentorship. He is an active member of organizations such as WHOV TV & FM where he serves as Mr. WHOV TV & FM and contributes to the weekly newscast by writing for the show and editing once it is complete to upoad to Youtube, the Hampton University Student Recruitment Team where he serves as the community service chair, the Hampton University Gospel Choir: His Chosen Sounds, and the Student Film Organization. During his tenure at Hampton, Arthur has received numerous awards and acknowledgments, including the Franklin Armstrong Endowment and the USAA Dr. Price Cobbs award from the Executive Leadership Council. Additionally, he placed second with his teammates in the Ally X Thurgood Marshall College Fund Moguls in the Making Pitch Competition. When Arthur graduates, he plans to attend graduate school to obtain a Master’s in Fine Arts and a Master’s in Business Administration with the goal of opening his own production company with the purpose of preserving the memories of his customers and telling the stories of the black community.
